Space technology can be a catalyst to promote and support technology innovation.
The objectives of SPACE-O relate to the development of technologies, products and services that, combined, establish a complete, operational value chain from Earth Observations to the water business sector:
- Derive improved or new Earth Observation surface water quality products.
- Assimilation of Earth Observations in dynamic modelling to improve forecasting.
- Develop a risk-based decision support system to enable cost-effective and environmental sustainable water treatment utility operations.
- Commercialise a complete, operational service line for the water industry.
